Pallet Racking Inspections

Inspection Waiver & Disclaimer

At Pallet Racking Inspections, we take pride in delivering professional and thorough inspections in line with Australian Standards. To ensure clarity and fairness for both parties, please read the following terms which apply to all inspection services we provide.

1. Access & Cleanliness of Inspection Area

To carry out a proper inspection, all pallet racking must be fully accessible and free from obstructions. This includes clear aisles, visible base plates, and unobstructed views of frames and beams.
If any section of racking is blocked by stock, equipment, or debris, it will not be inspected. A reinspection may be required once access is available and may incur an additional fee.

2. Inspection Validity

Our inspection is a snapshot in time. It reflects the condition of the racking system at the date and time of inspection only. We cannot be held responsible for any damage, movement, or non-compliance that occurs after the inspection is completed.

We recommend ongoing visual checks by warehouse staff and formal inspections at regular intervals to maintain ongoing safety and compliance.

3. Limitations of the Inspection

  • Our inspection is based on visual observations only. We do not dismantle racking, move stock, or carry out any form of destructive testing.

  • We inspect in accordance with AS 4084:2023 and base our findings on what is reasonably visible and accessible at the time.

  • Any components or structural areas that are hidden, modified, or outside the scope of the standard may not be assessed.

4. Repair & Modification Responsibility

While we may offer repair or design services separately, the inspection itself does not include repairs or engineering certification. Any suggested actions in our report should be carried out by a qualified racking technician or installer.

If modifications or repairs are completed after the inspection, a follow-up inspection may be required to confirm compliance.

5. Use of Report

The inspection report is intended for internal use and compliance purposes. It should not be altered, copied without permission, or presented as engineering certification. It represents our professional opinion based on the conditions observed during the inspection.

6. Agreement

By booking or accepting an inspection from Pallet Racking Inspections, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined above. These terms are designed to ensure fairness, safety, and clarity for all parties involved.
